SHIELD Legal was founded by two high school researchers who saw how legal knowledge remained inaccessible to the communities that needed it most.
Saurish Gottipati
Co-Founder · South Forsyth High School, GA
An active researcher in both law and business, conducting work across top 25 law schools and business institutions in the United States. His scholarship sits at the intersection of legal theory, empirical research, and civic education, with a commitment to making the law legible for those who need it most.

Armaan Keswani
Co-Founder · Denmark High School, GA
A researcher at Georgetown University Law Center and the UGA Terry College of Business, and a member of the UGA Business Program. He also brings practical industry experience as a FinTech intern at NeoFinance. His work focuses on the structural dimensions of legal access, finance, and policy, examining how economic systems shape who can meaningfully participate in the legal process.
